Ann-Shyn Chiang Ph. D. 江安世 教授

簡介

江安世教授現職為國立清華大學的特聘講座教授,並擔任腦科學研究中心主任。其最高學歷為1990年於羅格斯大學 (Rutgers University) 取得的昆蟲學博士學位,畢業後於同一單位接受博士後研究訓練,1992年返臺,受聘於清華大學生命科學系擔任副教授,並於1997年升任教授職位。江教授在2001年於美國冷泉港實驗室休假進修期間開啟了以果蠅 (Drosophila) 作為學習記憶生物模型之研究歷程,後於2011年受邀成為加州大學聖地牙哥分校卡夫里腦科學研究所的國際研究學者。在他的研究生涯中,對於大腦圖譜解密以及記憶形成機制的研究有非常大的貢獻,也因此獲選為「中央研究院院士」(2014年) 以及「發展中世界科學院院士」(2016年)。
江教授是國際知名的神經科學權威,是我國第一位研究成果獲刊於《細胞》雜誌之學者,此篇論文發表了解析度到達單細胞層次之果蠅全腦網絡立體圖譜,廣受國內外媒體報導,紐約時報更盛讚此研究為人類全腦圖譜解碼之第一步。藉由此圖譜,江教授與跨領域研究團隊得以發現長期記憶的形成所需的新生蛋白質,僅發生於來自於腦中少數幾顆神經細胞內,並再次成為國內首位以長篇論文形式發表在《科學》雜誌之科學家。 江教授至今獲得的獎項肯定甚多,摘選如下:科技部(前國科會)傑出研究獎 (2004、2009、2012),傑出人才基金會傑出人才講座 (2007),教育部學術獎 (2007),行政院傑出科技貢獻獎 (2007),發展中世界科學院生物獎 (2012),教育部國家講座(生物及醫農類科;2015、2020) 並晉身為終身榮譽國家講座主持人。 More About
